I have several of these, one is a verizon, one a motorola, not sure what I bought them for other than the computer and don't know why I have so many!

Yes I think you have to have this for internet, but I'm not sure iether, I know I have one but mine is through comcast.

you need a modem to have internet. you need a wireless router to have wireless internet.

a router is only needed if you are trying to connect more than one device to the internet. if you have only one computer you can hard wire right into the computer's ethernet port and have internet on only that computer

Yes it is on the box, I wasn't sure so I had to look at again because I knew I had an additional antenna that went to one of these router/modems things!! lol

Looks like a Wireless Router / Modem for Cable but since No Model # was posted hard to say. Plus looks like the Wireless Antenna/Antennas are missing.

I'm not sure which one you are referring to? I know the Linksys has the antenna on it so it must be the verizon and I have the antenna for it, well I found one and I assume that's what it go's to.

That is a broadband wireless router, it says it right on the top...u connect this to the modem with an ethernet cord. It's what sends the wireless signal out to all the comps in your home. Hope that hope, I have an old dsl linksys that looks just like it.
