you can't ship this in a normal white envelope, the machines that sort the mail will get jammed and damage it because the ipod is too thick. you can however use a yellow bubble envelope.

That's a 4th generation iPod touch. You can tell because from the back its rounded around all sides unlike the fifth generation which has a flat back and slat sides like the iPhone 5 does. Also, it has the 30pin input connection and the 5th generation iPods are the first iPods to have the new lightning port connection.
