This heirloom carrot is small, round and filled with flavor. The shape of Parisienne carrot makes it easy to grow even in heavy soil. The small orange globe shaped roots are very tender - they are superb lightly steamed - and are very popular in France (though this variety is believed to have originated in Afghanistan).
This little carrot is great for home and market gardens, as it is fairly uniform in size and shape (besides being incredibly cute).
