Here is a Philips DVD RECORDER/PLAYER.
It was won by me when i was working and we had it in our bedroom but only used the dvd player 2x (we preferred watching on our bigger screen in the den for movie nights) and NEVER recorded a single thing.
This is in MINT CONDITION.
Comes w/ all the cords, remote and the unit.
Don't think we still have the booklet. If i find it will include w/ the package but NOT promising it.
I went on amazon .com and the lower ended ones are starting at $99.99 USED so being this has the HDMI I'm sure it would go for a lot more.
This has the HDMI so is full digital capabilities and it also has the USB DIRECT so you can connect to your pc laptop or desktop to record a DVD.
Would make a GREAT Christmas Gift.
Will be shipped UPS and I'll send the winner Tracking.
Will also put insurance on this wonderful item
As you can see i put my name "Lynnie" and Listia 2010 on a piece of paper so you know i truly have this item. It is NOT broken works perfectly. A few surface marks on the top but not noticible !
It's a high ended unit that when i won it about 2-3 yrs ago would've cost about $300.
Still in steller condition.

Nice as usual, what else would I expectr though! Gonna see how you do, and I may list mine. I have yet to record on it! I just play movies once in a blue ,moon, and get this, I have a regular dvd player on the shelf above!! Makes no sense. I thought I would start recording things 4 the kiddies, but never had time! Oh well. I'll be watching. Maybe even getting in on your new twist!!! You are great! Wish you well!

Your auction description states: you can connect to your pc laptop or desktop to record a DVD...then later in your comments you wrote that you can record from your tv. My question is just a clarification...Does this have to be hooked to a computer to record or can I just hook it to my tv and record from there? I've never owned a dvd recorder, but have always wanted one. I am not good with electronics and need a "hook up for dummies" book when it comes to electronics, lol. I have a regular dvd player, a vintage vcr, lol. and an older style bulky tv...nothing special. Will I still be able to record?

No you can hook to your tv, your cable box, a pc or a laptop and record from any of them. If recording from your tv (if you have cable u'd hook to the dvr/ cable box/tv )
u just hook it up accordingly..you can hook up from ANY device imaginable.
If you're say watching a dvd on your pc/laptop you can also hook it up directly to the pc/laptop using a USB connection to record that way.
Ours is hooked in our den to the Big Screen TV and our DVR w/ AT&T Uverse as well as a 2nd DVD player so if we want we can record a borrowed DVD by putting a blank DVD into the recorder, and playing it on the reg dvd player and then recording it.
It's the most versitile dvd recorder ever and I've got one already this was a spare in the closet after hubby got his ps3 w/ blue ray we unhooked it and put it up.
The manual shows you how to connect everything and is included! :)

Absolutely..also don't know if you've seen it or not..I also found the manual in the bottom of the filing cabinet. It's brand new. Think it was looked at by hubby in first 2 pages and put away. Shows you how little we used it!
Will be perfectly packaged for gift giving!

I FOUND THE MANUAL TO THIS ITEM.. PUT IN THE BOX FOR THE WINNER!!!
I found the manual to this DVDR and it WILL be included in the box w/ the av cords and the remote and dvdr! So all that is not included is the original box!

This one is about 1 1/2 yrs old maybe 2 at most! We played this 2x never recorded anything. It's in Mint condition.
Anyone who knows me and my items know everything i get is ALWAYS top of the line. I got this from AT&T in 2008-2009 for my sales. WE have a DVD recorder in the den which is where we prefer to watch movies and dvds etc. Have a PS3 and Xbox 360 in the bedroom have a DVR system w/ AT&T uverse so don't need this one. Was just put in the closet (was sitting on the entertainment system) about 1 month ago when hubby needed the room for his PS3 Move bundle.

It can tape from a pc, laptop, cell, mp3/mp4, ex: Hulu movies to a blank dvd.
Can also tape from a second dvd player, a vcr, or tivo or dvr.

Thanks my mystic blue! this is totally awesome but i've got one in the den where we watch movies. It's a much bigger screen (60 vs 42 in ) and we have the entire surrond sound in there too. Sooooooooooooo when hubby got his ps3 we hooked it up in the bedroom and disconnected the dvdr and put it in the closet (we've only watched 2 movies on it and never recorded a thing). Figured someone else would get much better use out of it. Think i may (stressing may) be able to find the manual in the rolltop desk b4 auction closes. If so will include it.
it's truly a top of the line machine. But would u expect anything less from me? NO you would not! :)
