This auction is for a vintage "Washington D.C. Touchdown Club" patch.

Terrific item for a patch collector!

The Touchdown Club was started in 1935 with a passion for charity and sports.
The name was changed to "Touchdown Club Charities of Washington, DC". It was founded by a group of college football enthusiasts in 1935, among them Dutch Bergman. The motto is "Children, Scholarship, and Community".

Size: 3-1/4 diameter
Type: Cloth, sew-on
Condition: It is vintage, but in nice condition for its age. Not positive if it was ever used. If so, difficult to tell. Back of patch is smooth to the touch. It's a great patch!

It's very interesting to see the uniform worn by the young man on the patch.
