This is a very nice trinket or candy dish made in England. On the back it is stamped "New Hall Hanley, Staffordshire England." It measures 4.5 inches by 4 inches by 1 inch. On the front it is marked Sairey Gamp and under that is (Martin Chuzzlewit). It is an adorable dish, however, the lid has a good sized chip which you can see in the pictures. It does not show with the lid on. I think you would be very happy with it.
