Description

The listing, Monster 2 inch Turquoise Flat Pendant!! has ended.

This is a Beautiful Turquoise nugget It's flat from the side , but 2 inches tall. The only hitch is , it has been repaired, right where the hole for the pendant is. My thought is , you can use it as is , but you can see the yellow glue. Or then file or cut that piece off and wrap it around te edges with silver and put a silver ring on that so the pendant hangs from the silver ,not from the pendant itself. The repair is strong, but I think it would just look better with silver all around it. It appears to be real and high quality turquoiseI've seen a lot and while I can't guarantee anything, I would say the color is very rich, like American Turquoise from out west(not like dyed or Chinese Turquoise). I would guess a piece like this could go anywhere from $25 to $75.

This is real people! Not fake turquoise! It's the genuine article! I guarantee it! So bid with confidence!! You don't see many big pieces of turquoise this size! Pieces like this are from $1.80 to $2.90 per gram! This is almost an ounce!! Do the math $1.80 x 28 grams is???? That's the lowest price!! That's over $58 !!! on the high side is $64!! And I might be seriously underestimating!

this is a beautiful piece, looks like Kingman or perhaps sleeping beauty. The color lends me to think Kingman. Here is some information for you: The Sleeping Beauty Mine in Globe Az has closed down, they are only mining copper. The price of their turquoise is skyrocketing. The Asian market is buying up what sleeping beauty is left and are making a killing on it. Any natural turquoise as this is quite valuable being an American piece. Most of the stuff you see coming from Asia is dyed howlite or magnesite as most of the listings on here are the fake stuff being sold as real. Turquoise does NOT come naturally in purple, red, blue or white. sorry for the rant

No that's great ! I was just reading about Kingman and Sleeping Beauty, that's what I was thinking , too, the color is closer to those two, it's amazing how different each mine is!!

well it does come in turquoise color blue lol, and some comes in green shades. But the copper turquoise is pieces of turquoise reprocessed and formed together to make one piece and copper or brass and with coloring added. Most turquoise is stabalized and sometimes even natural turquoise is dyed during the stabalization. Block turquoise is fake, copper turquoise is processed, dyed howlite and magenesite are not even turquoise at all.
