Up for auction is a very beautiful brass basket from India. This basket measures approx. 8 inches tall from the middle of the handle to the bottom, 4 inches from the rim of the basket to the bottom, 6 1/2 inches across the top, and 3 1/4 inches at the base. The handle on this basket is scalloped and can be moved from front to back. The outer rim is scribed with a floral detail.

This basket is in very, very good condition. There are no dents, scratching, or markings on this piece. It is marked "India" on the bottom. This piece would be to decorate with, or to give as a gift.
