Questions & Comments
I loved the fact that you put a video up! It works to tell us idiots who are really just learning everything we need to know1 Ok so I will need a new power cord. Any idea how much that costs? And since I need a very user friendly one i need to know is? Thers a macpro something in here but I was told by my other half that I would have a lot of problems with a mac.
First off, this is a much older laptop, from near the start of the millenium, so it's not near as fast as laptops nowadays. This laptop doesn't even have USB connections. I power cord would cost like $7. A new battery, if you want to unplug it and take it places, would cost like $30 or more.
Brilliant idea to post a Vid.WTG. Now, can U do one while ME is doing a de-frag? Watching all the squares moving and changing colour, was entertaining and hypnotic, rofl
Im not all that good with computers but I need very user friendly... All I really do is answer email, play farmville and do listia. Can I do those things on it? And would you cosider a gin?
SliTaz GNU/Linux is a free operating system working completely in memory from removable media such as a cdrom or USB key. It is light, speedy and fully installable on a hard drive. SliTaz is distributed in the form of a LiveCD that you can easily burn to a cdrom and boot from. When the system is running you can eject the LiveCD and use your CD drive for other tasks. The Live system provides a fully-featured, working graphical distro and lets you keep your data and personal settings on persistent media. The system can be extended with the Tazpkg package manager and security updates are provided for the cooking and stable versions.
Meaning he probably wants to buy it and use it for that.
Wow! That's one ancient piece of device you have there! :D I have one in storage somewhere from 1999 with Windows 98 on it. So it's roughly a year older than your model. It's crazy how in just a span of 14 years technology have made such a huge leap in advancement and still getting better each day as we speak.
