The listing, 3 or more Thornless Nopal "Nopales" Cactus Plant Starts Old Plant Stock Up to shipping Cost weight has ended.

You will get as many Nopales as I can send for the shipping I am asking for. You will get 3 or more live leaf starts ++ from this Thornless Nopales or Cactus. NO CHEMICALS!!
This cactus could be considered HEIRLOOM as it is direct planting from a very old stock from West Texas. The main plant these came from is at least twenty years old or older.
They grow well indoors with plenty of sun in warm room, solarium or outdoors where it doesn't go below 32 degrees for more than a few days.
They grow to be huge trees if left to themselves.
Prune or even cut down and they will grow back. The fruits have little HAIR THORNS take care still when picking and cleaning.
Just stick the starts into sandy soil, keep mildly damp. Start will root and your cactus is on it's way.
Take small leaves off when you want to eat, wash carefully scrape off nubs and bumps.
Slice diagonally into very thin slices, saute in pan with a little coconut oil and lime juice or lemon and onion if you choose. Once the color has changed they are ready to eat. If they are too slimey and there is a lot of gelatin use a screen and rinse till slime is rinsed off. Then reheat in pan for a couple more minutes. Saute with meat or shrimp virtually anything you'd like. The smaller and thinner the better, I think. You can also boil first and strain. Then fry.
They have a semi sour taste once cooked.
Great for lowering blood pressure and great for diabetics: Daily intake of 100g to 500g of nopal cactus divided in three servings is the recommended dose for diabetes. Broiled stems are more effective than raw stems

I can't bear to cook these as I love them as plants. All of the starts marahaka has sent me are good size and arrive in beautiful shape. My Napales cactus leaf starts are growing new "arms". Nice plants and a great seller. I highly recommend her! Anyone bidding will be very happy with their bid.

I have my grandma Xmas cactus I think that's what you call it. It blooms around Xmas it's at least 70 years or older than that . Look like it has same flowers as yours do. It's so big and full now. I don't water it to much maybe every 3 weeks are so . When it rains I set it outside that's the only time I put it outside.

A Christmas cactus has different shaped pads as I call them. They are shaped more like a horseshoe crab or a semi-rectangle with little spurs coming off the corners. The blossom is tiny but has many cups stacked inside each other yet connected and not tight. I have had Christmas cactuses and they are beautiful. A Christmas cactus does bloom around Christmas but this plant blooms in the spring to early summer. This plant I have is a Bromeliad which is similar to a cactus but the leaves are long and narrow with spines on the edges. It also has a tuber as a root. The blossom is very long and droopy with those little purple and pink balls hanging from it. Thank you for contacting me:-)
