hi i believe they are FAUX, but i cannot do the time honored test, of running them along to see if the are rough (wich means they are real) as i wear dentures, however i will have my hubby ( who is sleeping right now) test them in the morning, and then get back to you, okay, ? thank you for watching, get back to you in the morning and let you know for sure......purrs..catspaw1955
