I bought this at a garage sale and its pretty cool lamp but, i can't figure out how to fix it.. So maybe i can give it too someone that knows how to or wants it for scraps...

Does the light bulb part just extend straight up or does it extend out like an arm?

The top is supposed to screw in but, the cord to the lamp wont go back down into the rest of pole for other part to be screwed in. I gave up on getting the other part to be screwed in.

It might take me awhile to send this item out cause i checked post office and they said the box i will need is going to cost 50.00 plus shipping and handling so with that being said it might be going out next monday. Just to let you know.
