its the other way around for me! lol, i have to go to the salon for my platinum and the upkeep is insane and expensive!

I used to be platinum blonde (naturally light-to-medium brown) and after getting my roots done at the salon once to see how it's done properly, I went to Sally's and got a pound (literally 16oz) of Wella bleach, a big bottle of developer, and a few little bottles of toner (cuz you only need half the bottle for just roots), and it lasted me an ENTIRE YEAR I swear to God. All for like $40.

Anyways long story long that's my advice to platinums :) Salons are like mechanics when it comes to the cost for the job they do.
