The listing, Blue Öyster Cult: Club Ninja has ended.
As is the case with several Blue Öyster Cult albums, this one goes down as one of the most underrated albums in a career of evil that spans more than 40 years. In fact, just last year they had a reunion concert bringing all the original members together for what was to be their last reunion possible. Allen Lanier would pass away this past August on the 14th. A true giant of rock and roll died that day.
The list of songs on this cd are as follows:
1: White Flags
2: Dancin' in the Runes
3: Make Rock Not War
4:Perfect Water
5: Spy In the House of the Night
6: Beat'Em Up
7: When the War Comes
8: Shadow Warrior
9: Madness to the Method
This album brought the return of Sandy Pearlman back into the fold. He managed the band (with Murray Krugman) from 1967–1995, and produced or co-produced 7 of their studio albums, and 4 of their live albums. This album also introduced Eric Bloom's wife's cousin to the world, a minor celebrity by the name of Howard Stern who voice is added to the beginning of When the War Comes in spoken format. Sorry for the late auction, but I just couldn't sleep. It seemed like an auction was the right thing to do.
Again, this will ship without a jewel case to keep the cost down but this will have ALL artwork, and it's quite killer artwork at that, the cronus star on the back is awesome with the space ninja, seriously, how cool is that? The thing I HATE is the upc, it takes away from a great piece of art. But what the hell does the record company give a rat's patootie about our feelings???? We know where it lies, right at the wallet and that's all we're good for. Anyhow, I still freakin' love this album and you'd be nuts to pass on it. I'll put a gin on it and an easy entry level. Peace! Oh, wait, Beat 'em Up!
