this is great for trips....you can attach it onto th back of the seat with the straps....it has a remote....it has a better screen picture then many tvs

How long does it hold a charge?

i am not sure but i know it lasted a long time.....we purchased a car charger that we could plug a regular plug into it cause our trips got farther and farther...ypu can get them at home depot or lowes for about $5....sorry hun its been so long since we went anywhere i just cant give you a length of time

let see my son is 18 and we were using when i was about 10 i think...it is in great shape...everything looks new.;..it still works great....it has a better picture then a couple of my tvs....oh a thought i could keep it and stay in bed and watch movies lol

it has some charge on it.....i charged it some so i could take pictures of it with a movie in it

So this has a battery that can charge OR it can be run off of the power cord right? Just wanted to be sure. We have one similar to this and and we bought an adapter for the van to be able to convert the power so we didn't have to worry about the charge. Wanted to make sure we can run this one the same. The kids broke the screen on the one we have, luckily it still works as a TV DVD player :)

yes this can run off its charge and you can plug it in and run it off the charger too
