Hey here's a test for the rare Icey Blue Aqua Marine, drop it in a clear glass of tap water and if it's an Icey Blue the stone should disappear.....

try it, an Icey blue is more valuable and should disappear in water.Aqua Marine is made up of beryllium aluminum silicate, pure beryl is colorless, and the lighter the stone the more it is valuable...
