THE LEGEND OF BLACK THUNDER MOUNTAIN Separated from a wagon train, Mr. Parish (Ron Brown) and his children are attacked by armed men, forcing young Anna and Jamie (Holly and Steve Beemer) to flee into the wilderness with their father’s fate unknown. They don’t realize they carry a secret treasure map, but with gold-hunting George and Buzz (Keith and John Sexson) in pursuit and wild-eyed mountain man McTavish (F.A. Milovich) on the loose, there’s plenty to fear. Yet help comes from the unlikeliest of places, including a ferocious wolf pack, the majestic wild eagle, Balderdash, and even a maternal grizzly (Bozo the Bear), which they name after their friend Mrs. Mullen. Filmed in Washington State’s Wenatchee National Forest, this delightful family adventure combines breathtaking cinematography with more thrills than a back-country safari--and almost as many wild animals! Approximately 83 minutes Color. Played fine last week when my granddaughter watched it :)
