This is a great Cold War patch, and belonged to the officer in-charge of the security detail for the U-2 and SR-71 Blackbird spy flights out of our base in Japan. Hwe was the last man to shake hands with Francis Gary Powers before he was shot down, and once repremanded a private named Lee Harvey Oswald (yes, THAT Oswald!). Patch is round and shows armour and a torch surrounded by stars and the worlds "This We'll Defend". It is one a square of uniform material.
