Oh gosh, now I'm really feeling stupid - I know about flat rate USPS boxes, but did not know they have padded flat rate envelopes! I will have to go check that out when I'm at the post office tomorrow. Thank you SO MUCH for the information!

I am LOWERING the Shipping and Handling on this item: Your choice of:

1. Flat rate of $4.00 if you want it Media Mail or

2. Actual Exact Cost of $5.95 if you want it Priority sent in the flat rate padded mailer that my customer fleamarketmutt was right about - you get these for free from usps.com (they don't usually stock them at your local post office) and they are priority, tracked and insured, and can be sent to anywhere in the U.S. for a flat rate of $5.95! (But it has to be Priority Mail - they do not have flat rate boxes or mailers for Media Mail.)

My box for media mail weighed 2 lbs., 4 oz., and would have cost over (not under) $3.00 to send media mail (if over 2 lbs., you have to pay the 3 lb. media mail rate), but NOT $7.80 like I thought from what I mailed last week. So y'all can thank fleamarketmutt for sharing information with me. I couldn't figure out how to edit this auction, so I am telling you by comment. Thanks, Lynne

Happy bidding! This is the best set - I worked hard to collect all 4 to list them as a set here - so I hope we get several bids and congratulations to the lucky winner!

I have decided that if this goes up or above 500 credits, I will cut the shipping in 1/2 and if it goes up to or above 1000 credits, FREE shipping! (And if you can pick up the books here in Sonora, California, you do NOT have to pay any shipping or handling, just pay the credits you bid when you won!)

I put it in a box and it weighs 2.6 pounds. What is your zip code, fleamarketmuff, and I can price media mail versus faster shipping at the post office. Thanks for the info, and thanks for bidding, Lynne

I mailed 2 books recently and it cost $3.88 so I thought 4 books would cost twice that.

Oh thanks, I don't have any padded envelopes and it would increase my shipping and handling cost to buy one, but I do have a small box that the books fit perfectly in. You are very kind to be giving me information. Thanks, Lynne
