That's just terrible that USPS is dropping the ball like this for people. Though I'm not sure I'd worry too much over that package just yet. Delivery Confirmation is a great service, providing that a postal worker at each destination bothers to scan the package, if they don't, the confirmation number will show no information. Each post office seems to have their own version of the truth about how/why that happens. My local post office has told me that whatever info is available is the absolute truth. Meanwhile, I've had confirmation numbers say that they're several thousand miles away at 8am but are on my doorstep at noon when my mail is delivered. Other people I know have called about the lack of info on the confirmation numbers and have been told "All that will show is when someone scans it, some postal offices don't scan any of them." I also remember clearly an instance a few years ago in December where a package mailed to me Priority Shipping took 9 mailing days to reach me.
Anyway, will be keeping an eye on this, I'm not a jewelry maker but I do wear my jewelry a bit hard sometimes and this would be great for some simple repairs. Great listing!
