I get these for my husband who has arthritis in his hands and sometimes has a hard time keeping a grip on pencils or stick pens (like Bic).These are just the thing! They have a slightly textured surface (sturdy foam) and slip over the pencil to where you like to hold it, and give you a non-slippery surface, which makes it a lot easier to hold the pencil / pen.
