How do you clone? Can't mint be rooted by sticking it in a glass of water?

I guess that it can i was asking about it with another listn that does it that way,
what i do (and its great to learn ,,because u can do it with any plant )is a little different
i will send some papers to help explain &a few cuttings--including one with roots but to clone u take a very thin slice off the plant and i will ship wraped in water and some paper towels and a special bag i have also i will send a couple of cubes, u moisted the cube, and put the cutting in the middle ,put on a tray and as bright a light as possible on it ,when it grows "legs""roots u take the entire thing and gently add to soil and then it will grow!!!!
the cube goes in with it and i will try to send some "dip&grow"for the cube it helps it to grow legs
when u have the hang of this u can do with any plant
thanks karen:-)
