Adorable, sweet, tender, and small yellow squashes - the shape, size and color of a lemon. Very tasty: they are great fried in olive oil with a bit of garlic, or sliced in half, marinated and grilled. Sauteed or steamed & drizzled with butter & a pinch of salt and herbs they have a taste and texture similar to yellow straight neck squash.
Easy to grow...starts out as a bush but stretches to small vines as the season progresses...they do not bear heavily at any one time, but will keep on producing well into fall if the fruit is picked. Disease resistant too!
