how old are these and how have they been stored?

I bought them brand new and online about 3-4 months ago. Though I am tempted to open to view the cards they are still sealed and assumed fresh. I decided to auction as I don't have young children and thought someone else might enjoy playing with them.

I am curious as it says it is a survival tool, to eat veggies..but the card says wild flowers on it.
