4 muscadine seeds gleaned from the forest in North Carolina. My husband don't want me to plant them, so I thought I'd share...

Questions & Comments
As a child my Grandpa had a muscadine arbor. We sat for many hours under the vines eating the grapes. They make wonderful jams and jelly. But beware, the seeds are very bitter, OneFeather
Ooops... need to send this as a reply... Muscadine is a grapevine species. Pictured is muscadine fruit. These seeds will grow the vine that generates this grape like fruit.
Yes, you can eat the fruit. My husband and I both tried one. The skin is much tougher than a typical grape, but the inside is the same. We didn't eat the skin.
Out on our walk... where I found these, there were other muscadines lying nearby which had been completely cleaned out by critters... leaving behind the thick skin as well.
