I am growing my hair out for Locks of Love. I have naturally curly hair; however it has gotten so long that it could use a boost. I purchased this curling iron thinking it would give me more control over my hair!! Yet, yikes I've never used one and I don't know what I'm doing.

I did not keep the packaging as I thought I was going to keep this iron. In researching this model it keeps referring to it as a 1 inch barrel. Yet I thought it was larger.
