(To Scooter0164) Thomas, Walter L. - 82 yrs old~Born May 29, 1922 in Camp Verde, AZ. Died February 10, 2005, a resident of Boerne, Tx. The son of Arthur Lee Thomas and Ella Gladys Whitehead Thomas. Married to Virginia (Campbell) Thomas. A very successful and well traveled artist and retired teacher/principal from Homer, AK. From there became a resident, for many years, of Lahaina, Hawaii. His specialties were sketch and watercolor, where his wife, Ginny (Virginia), spent her time with him traveling and painting some of the most beautiful scenes in oil paints. She was also an expert at photography. They picked some of the most lovely places in the world to live their lives together and to visit and it always showed through in both of these artists wonderful works. They traveled to Africa, Australia, New Guinea, Thailand, Europe and the Philippine Islands to name a few. I know all this because I loved him very much. Miss you Uncle Walt!!
