The chain is sterling silver 925 with vermeil gold over it there is no tarnishing the chain looks gold from the vermeil gold but the chain is sterling silver 925 see pictures.
The pendent is just gold tone colored just a little something i put on the chain because it looks nice together. thanks so much for stopping by :)

Thanks so much for explaining it to me! I was interested Mostly( unlike your other watchers) in the pendant, only! The chain is lovely, but the pendant would be for a 17 yr old young man. He would not wear a chain like this, just does not like jewelry! It is the pendant I eyed! Thanks very much!
