I'm a newbie at this. Is it recommended to start roses from cuttings this time of the year? I know where the rose bush is that I want a cutting from, but I would hate to get cuttings and they would not be big enough to withstand our winters.

If you are in colder weather then doing this at this time would probably not be the best thing to do...You can always save the instruction I send and you will be ready for the spring....

Thank you so much for having this auction. I have found in this area that people have a beautiful pink rose growing in their yards. Even the local nursery doesn't know what they are. The bushes get enormous. I've got a couple people said I could have cuttings from theirs.
