I purchased this to help me nurse my DD, she took to the breast right away and didn't like this on there.
I have washed this in hot soapy water, they can only be hand washed.

The AVENT nipple protector is worn during breastfeeding to help protect sore or cracked nipples and minimize pain. The shape allows skin contact with baby and is made of odorless, tasteless, ultra-fine silicone.
