Description

The listing, 2 Gauge Purple / Light Purple Tapers has ended.

This auction is for a pair of gorgeous dark purple / light purple acrylic tapers. The body of the tapers have a random alternating pattern of the two shades of purple, while the heads have a checker board pattern of the same colour pallet. All O rings are included. They are used, but have been sterilized and will be re-done before shipping. I usually ship within a day or two of auctions end. Good luck!!!

Absolutley! The normal ear pierceing is a 22 gauge. When you are gauging your ears you are basically stretching the skin which leaves little strees points in your our epidermis. Rule of thumb, NEVER WEAR ACRYLIC for more than a few days. It harbors bacteria and can cause serious problems. You want to use tapers through most steps of gauging. Usually, you can get by with wearing tapers 24-48 hrs. before you place your plugs in. When I first started to gauge I went from a 22 gauge ( standard ear size ) to an 18 without the use of a taper. The difference is not enough to have to bother with them. From an 18 gauge I went to a 14 gauge then a 10 gauge, all without tapers. However, once you pass a 10 gauge, I recommend using tapers for all size increases and do not skip 2 gauges at a time at this point. Now is the time to take it slow and go up 2 gauges at a time because now you are putting a lot of stress on your lobes. Make sure to give them plenty of time to heal and always use a sea salt solution for cleansing and healing properties. I also suggest looking up a gauge sizing chart online just so you know about what you are doing. Try to always stick with surgical grade stainless steel. Acrylic is okay, just not for long periods of time. You can find jewlery in many materials. Bone, wood, acrylic, stainless steel, glass, stone and all alloy and precious metals. It just depends on what you are comfortable with. Let me know if you have any other questions. Oh, vaseline always helps when sizing up and make sure anything you purchase comes with all O rings and or backs. Unless they are double flares!! Hopes that helps!

Ahh, no my friend. I am desperatley looking for some myself. Try searching in the jewelry section under body and there are several that come up. I know one girl has some 0g stainless steel tapers... try using different key words like 0g, plugs, tunnels, tapers. It always brings up something different!
