i have not used it I am listing what is writen on the front of it I am sure any flame will go out if the wind is a Real Hard wind But no I have not used this lighter

most wind proof lighters are good 4 up 2 40 mph and i hope u dont send lighters with fluid in them as it is now illegal thanks 2 9-11.
