Description

The listing, BEAUTIFUL VARIEGATED PINK/GREEN/WHITE TRAILING SEDUM 5 ROOTED PLUGS has ended.

Beautiful variegated pink/green/white trailing sedum 5 rooted plugs. this is my favorite of all sedums, and i dont often 'share' many of them!! new growth appears as soft pink rosettes that look like tiny roses, and its blooms are a medium pink color. this one is also great for baskets, groundcover, and especially great for rock gardens. very hardy, but a slower growing sedum that should not be planted with more aggressive sedums, as it will get 'eaten' by the others. quite lovely!! bids going higher than 6000 will get bonus plants!! thanks for looking and good luck!!

Hi, how do you ship these plants in order to (mostly) ;) guarantee they arrive alive?

hi! I usually ship the sedum usps first class mail, since they are succulent they can handle the longer trip. I wrap the moist soil plug wrapped in newspaper in a plastic baggie. just to help reassure you, ive shipped over 200 plants this year and have no problems with any of them. thaks for looking/asking!! janet

hello! I believe they are zoned 3-9. they are very hardy here (near Chicago) it gets pretty cold, and they seem to thrive in the cold. I grow them indoors thru the winter and have them outside in my garden and they actually seem to be happier outside, and most definetly more colorful! hope this helps, thanks so much for looking/asking! janet

I live in SE MO and was wondering if this was an alright time of year to plant these outside in my rock garden as it is getting colder and expect an early frost within the next 10 days.?

hi! if it were any other variety I would say plant away, as the sedums can usually be planted up until the ground freezes but in the case of these, I would consider baby'ing them indoors until winter is over in a south or west facing window (or mine are under a florescent light). only because this variety is slower growing than the other standard varieties and I would worry they may not have enough time before it freezes to get established. they stretch when they are indoors a bit but I use this as an opportunity to pinch off the tops and make more soil plugs! hope this helps, thanks so much for asking!!

hi and yes id be happy to help! if u look in the menu options that are on the left side of your 'my listia' homepage there is a get verified button, or something like that. it usually only takes a few minutes, but others have told me that it took a couple of days to get verified. I hope this helps, and thanks for checking out my auction!
