Description
The listing, Pretty Things by Sara Manning has ended.
Author: Sara Manning
Brie is in love with Lancôme Juicy Tubes, Louis Vuitton accessories, and her gay best friend Charlie, who is in love with 1960s pop art, 1980s teen movies, and serial heartbreaker Walker, who has ever only been in love with his VW Bug, until he meets Daisy . . . who is too busy hating everyone to know what love is. Set in London, this girl-loves-boy-loves-boy-lovesgirl romp is set against a theatrical production of The Taming of the Shrew, and features enough on- and off-stage drama to satisfy teens looking for a beach read—or a read all year round.
Will you be listing others by this author? Also, are you telling me that you're falsely advertising free shipping on your auctions? This makes me feel bad, as I have bid on some of your "free shipping" auctions, and I am expecting them to be shipped for free if I win. You should not put "free shipping" if shipping is not free, as Listia's rules say that "Free shipping must be unconditional.", which means that you cannot place conditions like set bids (other than the starting bid) on the fact that you ship them for free. I see that several of your books are not even getting the 10-credit starting bids, but I bet that people would be bidding on those, if you offered free shipping on all of them. (And, yes, I know that it can cut real close when offering free shipping, since I have auctioned graphic novels [which are books.] on here several times myself, and I know that it cost $2.53 media mail to ship most books.)
I am not falsely advertising I would like the bids to be a little bit higher but I dont want to set it too high and then nobody bids on them. I am a student in college and I can not afford to pay to ship all of these books im in enough debt as it is. So im sorry I cannot offer free shipping on all 40 some odd auctions that I have up
I can understand that. That's why I usually only have 6 or so up, when I do listings. Maybe, if you did that, then offering free shipping wouldn't hurt you as much. I cannot understand the need to have 40 auctions up at once, especially when you've made it clear that there are more important things you need to do.
Thanks for the response, and I will continue to watch your auctions, in case I like things you are offering.
