what kind of sizing is it? womens? its not from a plus sized store, is it? just wondering because it does look bigger than a small! im not exactly sure what size i need. like a xl in juniors, so maybe a medium in womens?

It is a women's (misses) regular size Small; however, it appears to run larger than a small. I believe it would fit a misses size medium comfortably.
