They actually are scarf clips, I don't the they'd be strong enough to stay on shoes. You put the scarf around your neck (so it's in a triangle shape) and slide both ends of the scarf through the round clip and close it...they were just a way to make sure the scarf stayed around your neck.
I actually still have the shell one!! LOL Yes, I'm old...these were used back in the 80's!! Good luck, Saundra!! I'm watching & bidding come time! Luv ya, girl!!

thanks for clearing that up Gigi I tried to tell one lady an she said shoe clips lol but anyways messed shoulder up hand swelled up can type good an I have so many orders I got to get out I cant type to them an let them know what the delay is I have a doc app @ 2 my time to try to find out if I messed it up where I had surgery back in Oct but anyways just pray for me hon God bless love u to gf
