The Samsung Prevail can not be unlocked, for use with any other network or service provider ... other than Boost Mobile. Because it is from a prepaid phone provider and network (Boost), it was designed and programed to be incompatible with other networks.

Boost mobile can be linked to ATLEAST Verizon -.- boost mobile was mainly designed for you to be able to switch to a regular signed mobile plan. Please have your info correct. I have this phone and have had this service for 3yrs.

I thank you for this important information. As searched on many webpages and service providers, this phone was not able to be unlocked, but if your able to unlock the provider subsidy code than you can go to your provider of choice...as of right now it is locked to Boost Mobile a Sprint service provider.
