Background poster board is painted red on front and back and is 6 by 4.5 inches
Orange foam background has a yellow smiley sun, yellow small daisy flower, yellow chicken at top.....
Orange foam background has a redish daisy flower, red purple yellow green snail, and purple daisy at bottom.....
Hard red plastic middle has 5 birthday candles with yellow or orange wicks and blue or green or purple candle...this area is 4.5 by 4 inches

Painted with acrylic paint but could be laid on paper towel then placed on birthday cake. Do not recommend to lay directly on cake icing.
Can be taped to birthday present package.
Can be displayed in boy or girl bedroom
