The listing, Hard to come by Heirloom Amish Red Stuffing Pepper seeds has ended.
Dates back to at least 1950 from a local farm near Lancaster Penna.
These are a little harder to come by BUT well worth acquiring. Grow these in containers or in ground, containers inside for winter will help keep costs down on having to buy green peppers during winter. The flavor is gourmet quality in miniature. These grow hardy and have survived 2 frosts that we have had here already in northern Pa. I will be growing the container ones inside this fall/winter and will see how long it will keep producing but what I've heard is that they are prolific even in containers. Stuff these with crabmeat, spinach, pickle them whole and even use as kabobs on the grill.
The last several years I've grown these and love them, they are so easy to use and convenient. Most of the size peppers I get from these in containers are from 1/2 inch to 1 1/2 inches. I didn't let these ripen to red because I want to go on to pickle them. Eariler this summer I did not take pictures of them being red but will look for pictures from last year to post.
I am offering 10 seeds (if you find any place that still has these available, you only receive 5 seeds and for a larger price than what you would expect.
