I'm a Forensic Document Examiner since 1999 specializing in current baseball star autographs. How do you know it's his autograph blakjhns78? I've seen forgeries that not even the players themselves knew were forgeries! The only way anyone knew is that the forger confessed. Don't believe me? Fine. Read "Operation Bullpen" from the San Diego, CA FBI Office by Agent Fitzsimmons (who I worked with). Most autograph "collectors" have NO CLUE what they are doing & are paying good money for absolutely worthless items.
duwal is right; he usually is, he knows his stuff. Boggs made 381 plate appearances in 1982, so 1983 is his rookie card and his rookie year card, and 1984 is neither a rookie card nor a rookie year card. His rookie eligibility was up in 1982. It's still a nice card, and any card on Listia is worth whatever credits someone is willing to bid on them. A Boggs autograph, especially on anything pre-1989, is desirable. I'm watching a couple of your auctions myself.
