These Moon Plants have been in our Family since I was a little Girl. The Seeds have been taken from State to State. We bought a new house last year and I moved them from our lake house to the new location.As you know Moon plants are large white trumpets and bloom at night. This Year when they came up they came they came up white with a purple ring around the edge. My mother says she has never seen this before. But my daughters seeds I gave her did the same thing. They are also producing the largest pods of seeds I have ever seen.
Each bloom turns into a seed pod and each seed pod holds at least 100 seeds. The scent is heavenly. All parts of this plant seeds, leaves, and flowers are poisonous if ingested to humans and animals so be careful.
