Verizon phones that take SIM cards are for International calling only, has nothing to do with calls & texting in the USA! Hope this helps! :-)

Information such as make, model number, condition, any known issues and any other specific details particular to your item will go a long way in instilling confidence in potential bidders. umm im not sure if you can i tried it on streight talk and it wouldnt let me because it was verizon. I was told to take it to the verizon store and they might be able to get a pre pay sim card to use for the verizon pre pay it is 60$ a month for the smart phones but i have not tried it yet
