Here is another world coin. This one is from Haiti and is the 1997 5 Centimes. This may very well be uncirculated; it has proof-like luster and demonstrates no wear. There are bag/contact marks that are exaggerated in the pics. Highly reflective surfaces are extremely difficult to capture as every bag mark reflects the light. This looks better in hand.

This is a nickel-plated steel Centimes. Here is a description I found on the Internet: "The obverse design features the portrait of Charlemagne Peralte and on the outer periphery are the words “REPUBLIQUE D'HAITI” and the year of issue.

The reverse design features the Haiti Coat of Arms. On the outer periphery are the words “LIBERTE EGALITE FRATERNITE” or liberty, equality, fraternity . Below the Coat of Arms is the number “5” that is representative of the denomination."

This was only minted in the years 1986, 1995, 1997.
