1) Yes, this printer will read memory cards from digital cameras.
2) THIS PRINTER HAS BEEN LIGHTLY USED!!! (**I used it during my first semester of grad school). You will have to replace the black ink cartridge, but the color cartridge should still be good for a few more prints.

Will this come with the software disk to install it? Also and this is not a question but something you should know when you ship this item you should remove the ink cartridges and wrap them in plastic wrap so they don't leak--and also there should be somewhere on this printer a button that will lock the scanner bar so that it doesn't get shaken out of place while shipping it. Most likely on the back or bottom somewhere hope this helps and let me know on the software---I also see you have it in the original box will you be shipping it in this box?

I dont have the original disk but I ASSUME ( I have not checked) that you can download the drivers from the website (like you can with most printers).

I used it from this past january through this past april and it worked fine. I imagine it still works now
