Lots of Christmas songs and terrific 1950s rock n roll and doo wop! Georgia Gibbs visits. Lots of interaction between Dick and the famous original "regulars." The kids dance to the music of: Sam Cooke, Frankie Lymon, Fats Domino, Silhouettes, Danny and The Juniors, Bobby Helms and others. Commercials include 7-Up, Frank Sinatra TV special and Pat Boone pitching his "Chevy Show."
DVD # 2 -- AMERICAN BANDSTAND DOCUMENTARY 1996 -- U.S. A look back and the beginning of AB and the Philadelphia years '52-'64. Featured spotlight on the kids who made the show. Great vintage footage of teenage "regulars" and behind the scenes look at a classic 1950s & 1960s teenage institution.
No jewelcases, but I pack them very carefully. Never had a CD get damaged in the mail yet!
