FREE: Bayou Classic, 8" Cast Iron Skillet

The listing, Bayou Classic, 8" Cast Iron Skillet has ended.

I wanted to try out cast iron because I heard of all the WONDERFUL benefits to cooking with such a sturdy property, such as the resiliency, durability, flavor, and even the boost for iron deficiency. Thus recently, I purchased this skillet from Amazon.

It appears that the skillet was not "pre-seasoned" so, per instructions from YouTube, I attempted to season the skillet, but have not cooked anything in the pan, because of my experience cooking with another pan I listed.

So, as you probably can tell by now, I am not a cast iron expert :( I did not particularly care for the pan, and perhaps it is because I just have no clue on how to really use and maintain...So I am hoping that a CAST IRONER will find this auction and a true beauty in the item...Or someone who has never tried cast iron, but would like to give it a shot :)
