Fanned and watching! Does anything go on top? Coordinating scented oils? Or am I looking at a black roof?

Nothing goes on top. You place a 22 oz. candle already in a jar into the warmer and turn it on. Then the candle will warm and melt releasing the scent. The only down side is that you can't burn the candle as you normally would because the wick melts down into the candle. This is not a messy project, and you can use any scented candle.
