Easy to grow in any garden. Deeply colored maroon-red roots are smooth- textured and sweet. Perfect for canning, pickling, freezing and fresh use. Tasty tops can be picked any time and eaten raw in salads or cooked.

Planting:
Start beets outdoors in the early spring as soon as soil can be worked or fall/winter in mild climates. Firm soil over seed and keep evenly moist until germination. Do not let soil crust-over before young plants sprout.

Harvest:
Plant every two to three weeks doe continuous harvest. Keep soil moist for best growth, easy harvest and sweetest flavor.
