Forms solid 4 Ib. heads very early in the season. Copenhagen has a firm, crispy texture with a marvelous sweet flavor. Perfect for slaw, sauerkraut or cooked. Harvest by early summer.

Planting:
Choose a rich, moist soil with plenty of organic matter. For transplants, start about six weeks early. Transplant about two weeks before last frost.

Harvest:
Split heads can be avoided by providing even moisture when the heads are forming. Watch for caterpillars and control with non-toxic B.T.
