Earrings are meant to be put in like standard earrings with pierced ears. WILL NOT work for those who have taper ears. Earring stem is thicker than standard size earring stems (stem is measured at 1.2 mm). Fits better for those who have wider earring holes. The earrings must be inserted from back to front in order for the stone to face forward - might take some practice. Each pair have a twist on/off closure.
